Universit&eacute; de Rennes 1 is amongst the twelve main universities in France. It is a multidisciplinary university famous for its excellence and dynamic research. The university is also a member of the European Digital UniverCity (EDUC), one of the first European alliances, selected by the European Commission in 2019.&nbsp;EDUC aims to strengthen the European identification process by enhancing knowledge creation and by putting forward European skills acquisition through digitally supported cross-campus and cross-disciplinary teaching activities as well as various learning opportunities.&nbsp;Our scientific collaborations include 21 International Research Projects (IRP, former LIAs) and International Research Networks in conjunction with the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) or the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM). Located in the centre of a human-scale city, University of Rennes 1 is just 1,5 hours away from Paris.

學校雷恩是座大學城，市區內遍布雷恩大學的各個校區，而我的科系所在的Beaulieu校區，是一個非常樸素，簡潔到不行的地方。學校裡建築物不多，且較少高樓，取而代之的是大片的草地與樹木，總是給人一種很悠閒放鬆的感覺。學校設備的部分感覺跟台大差不多，不新不舊也沒有什麼很新奇的東西。我在雷恩交換的這段期間，法國因為政策原因砍掉了一些學校的預算，其中就包括雷恩第一大學。也因此目睹了一場當地學生的遊行抗議跟罷課，感受到當地學生的團結跟對學校未來的重視。關於去到雷恩第一大學之前的所有事前作業，包括選課、保險、宿舍等等都可以在學校網站的國際生專區找到相對應的指示。我個人遇到有問題的部分是選課，在學校網站找到的課突然說停開了，花了不少時間跟他們通信確認哪些課能選，最後總算確認了可選的課程，但建議大家選課前務必多加留意開課況。住宿之前上網爬資料都聽說雷恩的宿舍不好抽，抽不到宿舍住宿就會成為一個大問題，好在最後有抽到學校宿舍。雷恩第一大學的宿舍其實不是學校的宿舍，而是屬於一間叫CROUS的機構(可能類似台大的BOT)，他們除了在法國各地都有提供宿舍給學生之外，也有餐廳等等。也因為CROUS宿舍並不屬於學校，因此從申請到之後有任何問題要聯絡都需要直接去聯絡CROUS，大學那邊也幫不上忙。 ...生活娛樂雷恩是個小地方，有些人會覺得這樣的小城市能玩耍的地方太少，很快就玩膩了，不過我倒是很喜歡像雷恩這樣不會太擁擠、繁忙的地方，不夠大的城市反倒讓我能夠用雙腳去探索雷恩的每一個角落。雷恩市中心(舊城區)的每一條小巷子都很有特色，四處拍拍照、探索一下就可以度過一整個下午，再找間咖啡廳喝個下午茶，真的非常悠閒愜意，也很適合療癒心情。......undefined
