University of Orleans
The University of Orléans is characterized by its multidisciplinary nature. It has 3 Training and Research Units, 1 university engineering school (Polytech), 4 University Institutes of Technology, 1 National Institute of Higher Education (INSPÉ), 1 University Science Observatory (OSUC), 1 University School of Physiotherapy (EUK) and a medical training department.
Through its active members, the University is involved in renowned university networks such as AUREF (Alliance of Universities for Research and Training), the EUA (European Association of Universities), the AUF (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie) and France Universités.
The university campus is located 1h30 from Paris, in the south of Orléans, in the Loiret department in the Centre-Val de Loire region, with its research and training structures presented in Orléans, Bourges, Chartres, Châteauroux, Issoudun, Blois and Tours-Fondettes.
