Johannes Kepler University of Linz
JKU
Young, but also impressive. At just a little over 50 years old, the Johannes Kepler University of Linz has experienced quite a bit - and has a lot to offer: an outstanding selection of academic degree programs on one hand and on the other hand, it is a place to be happy. And instead of scattering faculties and departments throughout the city, almost all of the departments are available in one, well-designed modern location. In addition to shorter distances and being able to save time getting from one place to the other, the campus environment supports one important thing in particular: communication. Students and professors spend time together both in and out of the classroom.
The JKU offers intensive German language courses for exchange students (at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels). The courses, which are free of charge for exchange students, take place three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester and are worth 3 ECTS credits. The International Office arranges accommodation at the various student dormitories most of them within walking distance from campus.
