Tokyo Institute of Technology

Tokyo Institute of Technology is a national research university located in Greater Tokyo Area, Japan.

Tokyo Tech is the largest institution for higher education in Japan dedicated to science and technology, one of the first five Designated National universities, and selected as a Top Type university of the Top Global University Project by the Japanese government. It is generally considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in Japan.

Tokyo Tech is organized into 6 schools, within which there are over 40 departments and research centers. Two exchange programs are offered by Tokyo Tech, with YSEP as a research-oriented program, and ACAP as a course-oriented program.
