The University of Adelaide is a public research university located in Adelaide, South Australia. Established in 1874, it is the third-oldest university in Australia. The university's main campus is located on North Terrace in the Adelaide city center.
The University of Adelaide is composed of three faculties, with each containing constituent schools, including the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law, and Economics, the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, and the Faculty of Science Engineering and Technology. Ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide, the University of Adelaide is a member of the Group of Eight and the Association of Commonwealth Universities as well as a member of the Sandstone universities.
