The University of New South Wales (UNSW), also known as UNSW Sydney, is a public research university based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, with main campus in the Sydney suburb of Kensington, 7 km from the Sydney central business district (CBD).&nbsp;Established in 1949, UNSW is a research university, ranked 19th in the world in the 2027 QS World University Rankings, with Law, Accounting and Finance ranked top 20 in the world and 1st in Australia for Mathematics, Engineering and Technology. The university comprises seven faculties, through which it offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. Exchange students can study almost any course at UNSW Sydney as long as you have the required background knowledge.

學校介紹新南威爾斯⼤學（University of New South Wales，下稱UNSW）主校區位於雪梨市郊Kensington，搭公⾞到最近的海邊（Coogee Beach）只要15分鐘，搭輕軌或公⾞到市中⼼⼤約半⼩時左右，靠⼤眾交通⼯具和⾛路都算蠻⽅便。UNSW是⽐較年輕的綜合型⼤學，QS世界排名也有前20，不過在臺灣的知名度相較沒有歷史悠久、⻑得像霍格華茲校園的雪梨⼤學來的有名。UNSW主要以理⼯科系最為多數，法律系也算不錯；學校沒有臺⼤來的⼤，不過建在⼩斜坡上，上課換教室⾛起路來算⼩運動。學期與課程制度介紹UNSW採Trimester三學期制（聽說之後不知道何時要改了），我臺⼤的名額是交換113⼀學年，也就是他們的2024 Term 3和2025 Term 1。每個Term共12週，第1週到第10週是上課週，⽽第6週是Flexible Week，是⽤來給⼤家準備期中考的溫書週，基本上教授會不上課（個案例外），這時就是沒有成績壓⼒的交換⽣出去玩的好時機。⽽第11週是期末讀書週，開始停課，到第12週就是考試週，不過⼤多數的教授會把考試答案、作業繳交期限放在第10週，上傳之後就可以解脫出去玩了〜三學期制對於交換⽣⽽⾔算是蠻不錯的，不只是第6週可以安排旅⾏，在Term與Term之間最多可以有將近三個⽉的假期。校園⽣活澳洲的⼤學普遍可以感受到學⽣是學校的「主體」，不管是對⽼師或是校⽅都不會感受到有上下階層分明的關係，即便臺⼤已經算是校⾵⾮常⾃由的學校，去到UNSW上學還是可以發現蠻⼤的區別，也算是⽂化差異的⼀部分。另外，不只是UNSW，澳洲的⼤學留學⽣的⽐例⾮常的⾼，尤其是中國和印度最⼤宗，反⽽當地⼈顯得相對少數。好處是可以認識世界各地的同學，不過壞處很顯⽽易⾒的就是在學校⾛⼀圈隨處可聽⾒中⽂，若是沒有多在課堂⼩組討論、積極參與以洋⼈/⾮中⽂⺟語者為主的社團，或是語⾔交換活動，基本上⽣活圈幾乎沒有練習說英⽂的機會，會⾮常可惜。......undefined
