Since its foundation in 1966 as a reform university, the University of Konstanz has stood for top-level research, excellence in teaching and study, internationality as well as interdisciplinary collaboration. The University of Konstanz is a campus university with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere of more than 11,000 students from more than 90 countries. Set in a fantastic location between Lake Constance and the Alps in the southernmost part of Germany, you have access to cross-border leisure opportunities in Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria.

All exchange students are provided the same access to university facilities as local students, such as the 24/7 library, internet access on campus, accommodation in the Seezeit students residences, access to all sports facilities, psychotherapeutic counselling etc.

Housing application is included in the online exchange application. If students apply and pay a deposit of 800 € within the deadline, their application for accommodation in Seezeit student residences will be forwarded automatically.
