秋田大學

Akita University is a Japanese national university in Akita City, Japan, which comprises four graduate schools and four undergraduate faculties.

Akita University was established in 1949 by the merger of Akita Normal School, Akita Mining College, and the Akita Youth Normal School. The university initially offered degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences and in Mining Engineering. In turn, the Department of Education, Medical School, and University Hospital were established.

Akita University offers three types of programs for exchange students from international exchange partner universities. Accommodation priority will be given to exchange students coming under inter-university or inter-department exchange agreements
